Sad to say but I lost my best friend July 20, 2006. Baby passed over to the Rainbow Bridge. She was getting close to her
16th birthday. Only 3 months away from it. I miss her so much.
I miss her sparkling personality, her love, and her commitment to me. She was a one in a lifetime friend. I don't know
if I will be able to find another friend like her.
I will never forget you Baby.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to
someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are
meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they
can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water
and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to
health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made
whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our
dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and
content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone
very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes
are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying
him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never
to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more
into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
I simply LOVE chickens! I no longer have any of my own, but plan on getting some in the near future. Here are some of my
chicken families from a few year ago. I am bad, I can't even remember the name of the hen with the little chicks running
alongside her. YES~~~I even named my chickens! Can't help it! I love my chickens. The rooster and hen picture~~the Rooster's
name is Rambo, the daddy of the little chicks. So I guess I am keeping the genealogy of my chickens. HA!
When I was living in Tennessee I had the pleasure of being around the most magnificent animals that the Creator ever made.
I took care of Horses. I became very attached to every one. Each had their own individual personality.
One in particular was my horse. Her name was Moonglow and when I moved back to Missouri we brought Moonglow and Pocahontas
with us.
But, due to uncontrollable circumstances I lost contact with these precious pets of mine when me and my "companion"
split up.
My very first horse I ever had was Sarge. I will include pictures of Sarge here too.
I will introduce all of these beautiful animals. They will always hold a special place in my heart.
